Just a one night stop, but use this hotel when stopping around Wigan, as it is by far the best in the area. That is why I always come back to Kilhey Court. Location is fantastic and the staff always make you feel welcome, good facilities and a comfortable nights sleeep in whichever part of the complex you are staying in

Great place, staff were excellent and the breakfast superb. The room was comfortable, but we suffered from plumbing noises - boxed in pipes from other rooms above came through our room, so noisy at end of day and early next morning!

Well stayed here as part of a wedding party. Wedding was well done and the meal and dico was also nice but being kicked out the room twice for an hour each time when they changed the room was a bit of a inconvenience. Rooms where OK but no better then a travel lodge. Paid £99 for b&b that was at a discount.

We stayed one night. Husband and myself in one room and daughters in a room opposite. Very welcoming staff at desk. Pool was fun. Surroundings beautiful. Booked taxi to go into town restaurant to meet family. Breakfast was lovely.

Poor Customer service

Had a fabulous wedding, couldn't fault anything......
Until a drug & alcohol fuelled pycotic random guy trashed his room, his girlfriend with blood on her hands was screaming for her life from the second floor window.
Six of our wedding party ran to her rescue...the guy was wild.
To correct Wendy from her review it was NOT a fight and was NOT from our party. He was just a guest who'd checked in with his girlfriend.
Three of our guests restrained the man for 25 minutes who at this point was trying to kill himself head butting the window etc until the police arrived.
To cut a long story short...the management did NOT at any point thank those 3 men for doing what they did...I'd like to see what the two reception woman were going to do who came to see what was going on!!
NO apology...NO offer of a free pint...NOTHING!!!
Without those 3 men that situation could have been fatal.
No it wasn't the hotels fault but they could have been a little more grateful.
