We stayed at Premier Inn Ashby because my partner was on a one day course and I did my own thing for the day, going to the RAF Museum at Cosford. The room was as you’d expect but the building seemed to transmit noise and at one time I thought there was a heard of stampeding elephants charging along the upstairs corridor. But we did have a good nights sleep.
We had an accessible room as my partner has a disability. What I found was the floor in the wet room has a dip in it, allowing water from the shower to pool rather than drain away. This was reported and hopefully something will be done to sort this issue out.
There is no AC so the room could get a bit stuffy. But the window could be opened slightly, allowing fresh air in.
There was no room service so the tea and coffee weren’t replenished and the room wasn’t cleaned during our stay. We questioned this and we were told this was due to Covid restrictions.
For the stay, we got what we were expecting for a short duration visit, the bed was comfortable, we had a good nights sleep, the breakfast was substantial but expensive and the staff were welcoming. I’d stay there again if I had a short visit in Ashby de la Xouch.More
