Stayed in the Montauk Beach House suite for 1 night but could have moved in permanently! The suite has everything you could ask for, it’s spacious with a fabulously comfy bed and seating area , beautiful bathroom and a private sauna and hot tub. The staff were very friendly and helpful whilst also unobtrusive. The evening meal in the restaurant was lovely and topped off an altogether fabulous day. Can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t make it! Having decided to spend an extra hour in bed and making use of the sauna before we left.

Rooms are very nice - clean and well catered. We stayed in Sharron Bay right next to communal hot tub. Staff lovely and very helpful. Pre dinner canapés were lovely and food in the restaurant is beautiful although overpriced.
Breakfast was average - reasonable selection but nothing to set the world alight...

Stayed: March 2018

Visited recently and stayed in the Bellagio - Las Vegas room. The grounds and nearby restaurant are wonderful. The room is opulent and extremely comfortable, it includes a hot tub outside which is great to use in the cold weather.
The main hotel has a bar and if your lucky you can find the hidden larger pump where you can get drinks for free.
Very classy establishment and nice staff.

Room Tip: Any but the Bellagio has a hot tub

I booked this stay last November for my Wife's Birthday in early January with the expectation of a room then, so it was a long and much anticipated wait for a room yesterday as the place was fully booked. Popular or what! But oh how the waters of anticipation can be coloured by the simplest of things. Crab Manor has a Crabby Reception Supervisor. Beware of the nip! Ouch.....
Nice staff overall, phew!
Room okay but not 5star.
Burj al Arab ... Bath only. Form over function. Blind missing, oh no wear a robe. Nice view of the 52 reg Fords in the Hotel turning circle.
Free beer. Interesting twist, but was it Yorkshire Black Sheep, er no. It was Australian rammy 'Fosters' . Hence free.
The communal hot tub was fuller than a bouillabaisse. The two hole pitch and put under par. The terraced garden a wheel chair nightmare ...beware.
The Resteraunt has too many covers and is tighter than the hot tub. Don't ask for a different table the waiters get piqued.
I had the special, battered haddock. Easy. Nah, it had been quickly defrosted by standing in water and was soggy. Unknown to me drought beer was served cloudy. Excuse, last of the barrel mmmmm
Breakfast, very good, but no crispy bread with the Yorkshire Breakfast as indicated. Asked for more tea, okay, but was told to get own milk from the breakfast bar. Good job it wasn't a sausage.
General opinion. Under managed and on the slide. Not what it was.

I shelled out lots and received a nip.

PS: Raised it with the Manager and was shrugged off. Ho hum they hid in a shell.

My husband and I got married here at the end of March. Everything about crab manor is amazing. John the restaurant manager and wedding manager along with his team made our day perfect, John kept in touch with me in the weeks running up to the day and catered for all our requirements and double checked all the fine details, he helped settle nerves on the day and made sure everything ran smoothly.
Katie also helped us prior to our wedding and on the actual day she was lovely and very helpful and we can not thank them enough. If you want a stress free wedding day you are in good hands. We viewed several venues none of which had any personal touches. The crab and lobster is unique and the perfect venue to host a wedding, the gardens and grounds make perfect photo opportunities, and the conservatory is very qwerky.
The wedding breakfast was delicious all the guests enjoyed their meals. We stayed for two nights in Shangri la, there is so much detail and special touches to this room and if you want a luxury night away this is the ideal room, we had a lovely bouquet of flowers left for us and champayne.
We went for canapés on the 2nd night and Tim who served us was lovely , he showed a genuine interest about our wedding and we enjoyed chatting to him. He is quick to serve you drinks and attend to your requirements.
The meal the next night was just as nice the restaurant staff are quick and attentive very polite and professional. Breakfast is also very nice and the young gentleman who served us was very friendly and .quick to serve us toast and tea.
All in all we loved every minute of our wedding day and the next day and we will return here to get our passport of rooms filled in. Thank you to everyone at the crab manor. See you soon.

Room Tip: All rooms are unique and you will have a lovely stay which ever room.
