We stayed overnight with our Border Collie having booked through PetsPyjamas. Unfortunately our doggy welcome pack hadn't arrived but the hotel provided some towels. We were rather disappointed with our superior double room which was on the ground floor at the end of a cold and drab corridor and needed refurbishment. However, the rest of the hotel was great. We enjoyed a drink by the fire in the cosy bar then had an excellent meal in the dining room served by a really friendly and efficient waiter. The breakfast was very good too. There was ample parking and Monty really enjoyed his walks around the beautiful grounds

We stayed for one night with our dog, we were warmly welcomed and the staff assured us we could still enjoy restaurant and breakfast with our dog and that a table would be made for us in the bar so that we could dine with our dog. The room was beautiful, we stayed in room 1, large bed, wonderful views and high ceilings. We ate our evening meal in the bar and the food was delicious. The manager came over and spoke to us, she was lovely and told us about the picturesque walks around the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be staying again in the future.

We stayed here for a night to get away with our dog for the first time and see how he'd cope in a hotel.
We were made very welcome at reception by Chloe and checked in straight away.
We went up to our room which was a standard double and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us.
The bed was very comfy, however one gripe I have with the room is the bathroom is very dated and alot of the tiles on the floor were broken.
We ate in the bar area with having the dog and the service was excellent and the food was to die for.
Breakfast was usually served in the restaurant but we had our own table made up in the bar which was lovely.
Our dog loved the walks he got, as the hall is surrounded by 30 acres of land.

All in all we loved our stay and would definitely go back. It's nice to know there are hotels that cater to everyone with or without a dog in tow.
