This is a really fantastic house. It is large, well-appointed, well-equipped and comfortable. It is close to lovely Richmond but far enough from anything to be really quiet and tranquil. We are a theatre company performing in the local area and were welcomed whole-heartedly by the lovely owner, Barbara. There is a studio next to the house which would be a lovely place to rehearse, exercise or just chill-out with a game of table-tennis. I heartily recommend the Old Mill Centre; I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Firstly may i thank you for having such a warm welcoming place to stay. It was just what everyone expected with the big rooms and comfy beds. The piano was a focal point having 2 pianists in the family and accompanied by a couple of guitars made for different entertainment to the usual television or radio. The dog was in her element in the adjoining fields as well as the kids and adults playing cricket. All in all a great weekend and the birthday boy was a little overwhelmed by all the attention. The fact that you can book The Old Mill by the day and is broken down per person made this a very reasonably priced weekend for all concerned. The facilities and amenities are all catered for. And I'm sure on a sunny day the studio would be wonderful to use, to entertain at the rear of the house.

We stayed here over the May bank holiday with friends from university and their families. We have been meeting up like this for over 20 years and have stayed in various parts of the country [and even abroad]. The Old Mill is one of the most comfortable, clean, well decorated and furnished houses we have come across. The beds were very comfy too! The owner and housekeepers were most helpful in all respects and there was even a vase of flowers awaiting us!

We enjoyed a superb family christmas here at the old mill,14 of us in total and we found the place well equipped and very homely. The children had a great time with enough space to play with their presents without falling over each other, the studio also provided an extra entertainment for the kids with table tennis. Owners very accommodating and pleasant to deal with, very good communication, altogether a very pleasant experience, good value for money and would definitely stay again.
