“Comfortable period cottage close to centre of Alnwick”

A lovely well presented and well equipped 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage 5 minute walk from the centre of Alnwick, with a good choice of restaurants and tea rooms. Quick access onto the A1M and therefrom most of Northumberland's attractions.
Lovely little courtyard off the kitchen for a coffee or glass of wine.

“Gem of a property in Alnwick”

Had a fabulous few days in this lovely property in the heart of Alnwick. Just a couple of minutes walk to the centre so very handy for all the great shops, restaurants and coffee shops plus of course Alnwick gardens and Castle. The property was beautifully furnished, exceptionally clean and well decorated with lots of attention to detail. Would highly recommend a stay here.

“Lovely cottage”

This is an absolutely lovely house and being newly refurbished everything is so new and fresh. The decor and furnishings are very tasteful and of high quality and little touches e.g. fresh flowers in almost every room, make it very welcoming and like a home from home. The location is great, right in the middle of Alnwick (but very quiet) with easy access to the shops and town centre - there is a Morrisons supermarket just a few minutes walk away. It is a grand base to explore the Northumberland coast and countryside and Louise has made sure there is lots of information in the cottage to help in your planning.

“Lovely comfortable home from home”

Great central location. The cottage itself is very clean and comfortable. There were only two of us staying, so we found it quite spacious. The courtyard is small, but we enjoyed sitting out with a cuppa!
Nice touches like the fresh flowers and treats were appreciated.
Unfortunately the puffin cruises were unavailable due to rough seas, so would recommend ringing ahead if you are planning this. The castle and beaches at Bamburgh were beautiful, and we enjoyed Holy Island.
Lilburns restaurant is only a few minutes walk away, and well worth a visit!

“A 5 star gem”

I had the great honour of being the first guest to stay in this beautiful little cottage and from start to finish the stay did not disappoint. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from Alnwick centre and it's amenities; pubs, restaurants, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and a short drive to the coast and the beautiful beaches of Northumberland.
The cottage is fantastically well equipped, the kitchen has every possible utensil you could need, the living room is cosy and comfortable - the fire in the living room has the bonus of giving the effect of a log burner without any of the hassle of having to clean it out.
I stayed in the twin room and was a little concerned at first about sleeping in a single bed - it had been some years since I had done so - but I needn't have worried, it was one of the best night's sleeps I have had in some time. Beautifully soft pillows and warm duvet added to the experience. In fact it was difficult to force myself out of it in the mornings, however the invigorating shower and fluffy towels soon woke me.
This is honestly one of the best holiday cottages I have stayed in and I will be back
