What a lovely cottage to spend New Year in. Cosy and comfortable, well appointed, and beautifully placed for visits to the beach. Will definitely be staying again.
A delightful, cosy cottage. A perfect place to retreat for a bit of hibernation time during the winter months!
We had a super meal at the Apple Inn in the near by village of Lucker and enjoyed coffee by the fire in Alnwick's famous book shop Barters Books.
A great location for visiting Bamburgh, Seahouses and Alnwick.
We would definitely recommend this cottage come rain or shine!
As a regular to the Northumberland coast this is by far one of the best cottages we have stayed at. In the country but 5 mins from the coast of Budle Bay and Bamburgh. The cottage has had a complete very tasteful makeover and was immaculate throughout. We loved the little touches such as a welcome pack for the guests, beer, wine, milk, tea, coffee. The owners are extremely accommodating and have a lot of local knowledge living near bye. Highly recommended
We stayed at the old station cottage at the back end of the summer holidays. The cottage is very well decorated and is very cosy. The location is great and only 5 minutes drive to Bamburgh castle. We had a day out in Berwick too which was about 15 - 20 minutes in the car. The cottage is close to the railway but you can hardly hear the trains when your inside the house. Our son absolutely loved watching the trains so for us it worked out really well.
