I very much look forward to returning to this guest house on my next business visit to Berwick. I stayed for just one night and would have been happy for it to be much longer. I was warmly welcomed by Sandra upon arrival and shown to my room at the top of a very impressive sweeping staircase. The room was fresh, well decorated, light & airy and very comfortable. The ensuite was a good size and spotlessly clean. Both Sandra & Ian were keen to make my stay as comfortable as possible and I was served a great cooked breakfast. They were very attentive and keen to please. I understand that the guest house is a fairly new venture for the couple - they are sure to make it a great success!

I had one night at the Anchorage and was very happy with everything. Sandra and Ian Dods were very welcoming. The guest house boasts a very impressive central spiral staircase which led to my room. The room itself was lovely and comfortable with a very large ensuite bathroom. In the morning I opted for the full English breakfast with wild boar sausages which was cooked to perfection. I come to Berwick for work two or three times a year and look forward to staying here again! Malcolm Gray from London

Even more enchanted by this lovely B&B on my latest return visit. The usual warm welcome from Ian and Sandra, but also greeted by beautiful Christmas tree in the hallway, the perfect place for it under the magnificent staircase. Yet more festive goodies in the dining room, with lovely seasonal-themed displays. This really is a gem of a place to stay - comfortable and well-appointed bedroom with immaculate and spacious en-suite, lovely fresh white bed linen and the room decorated with excellent taste, retaining charming original features including lovely fireplace and shutters, yet equipped with everything one could want. Certainly won't be my last visit.
