We stayed at the stokesay inn for one night and although it was basic it was nice and clean and did the job.
It was a little dated and could do with a little modernisation but as I understand it the owners haven’t been there very long so it will be good to revisit next year and see if they have changed it.
Our room was good enough for our visit .
It could benefit by having a few more electrical sockets and a softer mattress and thicker pillows.
Breakfast was included in the price and was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a B and B .
I had a full English.
They do evening meals too but we didn’t have time to sample them.
As far as I could tel all the rooms are on the first floor so if your a wheelchair user this could be a challenge.
To help the stokesay inn I would like to recommend that they buy a tin of oil for the door hinges , adjust the door closers or replace as this would stop them slamming and put more signs up directing guests to the rooms.
I know the doors are fire safety doors but they are very hard to pull open.
Well done stokesay keep up the good work.More
