Well you know I'm really tough and hard to please but these guys just get it right. Coffee is really good. Great bit outdoors at the back overlooking the river, I guess I could refer to it as the smoking area but not everyone smokes it's normally the odd person on a roll up. The breakfast does change a bit from time to time, didn't like the beans so much this time around. It's just always a pleasant experience. And the staff take it seriously.

The food in this cafe is really tasty, all homemade and quite quirky. They have various teas and coffee's to suit all tastes. I had a turmeric latte which was really delightful. The raspberry cheesecake was to die for. They are very friendly staff and the chief is amazing. I would recommend this cafe to all.

This was our first visit to the river house & we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, great menu & a perfect setting equals a great experience. We were lucky to sit outside overlooking the river which was perfect for our lunch. The food came quickly seeing that they were really busy. The breakfast was lovely & plentiful as was the flat white coffee.
Great place we'll be back very soon

I love the River House in every way. The Dusty Ape coffee is superb, the coffee art that the team produce is equally impressive and a delightful personal touch. Then there's the food, brilliant for vege's, vegan's gluten intolerants etc but great for carnivores too. Always consistently excellent I love the fact that you can get really healthy, tasty food at reasonable prices. The cashew nut butter with ricotta on toast is epic and the vege breakfast is perfect when you're starving. Then there's the cakes. Changing daily they are heaven on a plate. Atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, you can chill on your own or with friends and never feel rushed. Staff are so lovely, smiley, energetic and nothing too much trouble with old fashioned politeness and manners. If you haven't been then you have missed out!!

Great little place for breakfast. Had a full British breakfast and everything was done wonderfully. The baked beans was like nothing I've had before. Truly wonderful! The Dirty chai I had was also done really well!

Atmosphere wonderful too. Love the choice of music!

Highly recommended for anyone in Frome looking for a meal!
