Upon arrival to the spa we were not greeted and waiting for 10 minuets before being seen to.
The men’s changing rooms were unclean had towels all over the floor.
The jacuzzi was filled by a cold garden hose which resulted in it being ice cold and unusable for use throughout the whole duration of our stay.
We could only access the steam room, which the door does not close resulting in a lack of steam. Secondly the unsanitary conditions, due to mould.
The pool had not been cleaned, as it was a merely colour, and again ice cold.
There was a door at the bottom on the pool area which would not close. This made the whole room very cold and unpleasant to sit in.
Overall it was not a relaxing spa experience. I am highly disappointed as it an expensive birthday gift for my partner.
I complained at the time and received an email from the hotel offering me a return visit, which I am aware is now worth £3.99. As I paid £77 I do not feel that is acceptable and I have not been offered any compensation. I thought it was important to share it with others who are thinking of going.More
