It was a convenient location for my visit to the North East, the hotel was quiet and clean and the staff were helpful and cheerful. As it is at a 'Services' on a Motorway, there were places to get a range of different foods/meals

My experience at this Travel lodge was very good. I felt cared for and all the staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone. This was my first visit to a Travelodge. I really enjoyed my stay.

The colleagues are great and it's quiet compared to the ones nearer town . We use a lot of travelodges the fact they are dog friendly won me over and my pup Nala loves the southbound Washington one . I have a terrible memory and the staff are great . Matthew and the girl on late with him stood out for me . I don't keep to well and they were on hand to help me during the night . See you all soon love Nala and andrea

I really enjoyed my stay at this Travelodge. Find it was easy,just off the motorway the services. Costa and Greggs for breakfast, in services 1min walk away.
Comfy bed, clean, quiet. Perfect for a quick overnight stop.

The rooms here are nice and spacious - lots of charging points and a nice bath/shower room -
Ideally located just off the Southbound A1M and a good service area with outdoor seating when the sun is out -
The staff here here are always friendly +welcoming .
And a big thankyou to Nina, who is always helpful and polite and for arranging my bookings .

It's a budget hotel but very old and dated the corridor smelt musty and damp the room was basic but so hot as no air con and can't have windows open due to motorway noise .right outside the hotel bedroom windows as you pull in was a skip full of rubbish very unsightly .yes it's budget but think there are better hotels similar priced
