We stayed here for one night as it was near Beamish. The room was light and bright having recently been refurbished.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable which aided a good nights sleep.
I would strongly recommend for a stopover. The staff were very helpful.

Top quality Premier Inn located in a very convenient area close to local amenities. Bedroom and bathroom looked like new and were immaculately clean. Reception staff were lovely.
Just want to say thank you to Janice. Very kind and caring lady. Had one of the new refurbished rooms. Nice and compact and comfortable bed had a good night sleep and everything was nice and cleaned. Liked it so much booked extra night. But this time was in another room. A big disappointment as the TV remote didn't work, changed still didn't work, so had to do it manually not ideal for a new refurbished room and modern TV.
We booked here so we could visit Beamish and found out when we arrived that it had just had a refit. Our room on the top floor was pretty much brand new. We ordered breakfast for our first morning and after we had ate this re ordered another for our 2nd and last morning. I can honestly say it was the best breakfast I’d had in a long time as it was made to order. Jack who took our order was very friendly and deserves a special mention as does the receptionist whose name I can’t remember but I do know she came from Ukraine. She was just as helpful as Jack. They both helped make our short break a success.
Was a bit dubious given we knew there were works going on but they were not a problem as they started works when we were up ans out.
We were lucky to stay in one of the new refurbished rooms and it was gleaming.
Staff were lovely and the made to order hot breakfast served by David was delicious and he was so helpful.
We stayed here on our way to diggerland. Will definitely return.
Purple showroom light were the kids favourite part.
