One if the more visibly impressive rentals we've stayed in due to its size and unusual decor. It's in a great location so close to the sea, local amenities and as a base for travelling around the Sussex and Hampshire coast. Bognor is a typical coastal town and I went there many times as a boy so it was a trip down memory lane for me. Retreating to 'the Hall' each evening is a treat. Very comfortable, all included facilities, good beds so a great night's sleep. The owner (Sian) is readily contactable for advice if needed. There are so many great reviews on Gabriel's Hall from the past 6 years; I don't think that there's anything else I can add. Lastly, yes I would stay at this property again.
Located just some two hundred yards from the fantastic Bognor Regis Beach Gabriel´s Hall was a perfect choice for our party keen on swimming. We felt a glimpse of luxury from the past there, because it is such beautifully decorated. Gabriel´s Hall is spacious, very well maintained and absolutely spotless. Cleaning ladies were very friendly and extremely helpful and we got assistance when we needed. We didn´t have a car, so we were pleased, that Morrisons, Tesco Express, Iceland and the railway station were within walking distance. We walked to Sainsbury´s as well, but it takes 30 minutes to get there and it is not easy to cross busy roads, so it is advisable to take a taxi instead.
Lovely house for groups or larger families. Plenty of space, rooms and facilities. Nicely decorated, you couldnt ask for more.
Closely located to the centre, but we preferred to walk out along the prom to either side of the resort, to find the best bars and restraunts.
Friendly and informative owner, and a special mention for the cleaner who had the house ready for us in good time and found my lads forgotten wallet and is returning it.
A great stay, perhaps enhanced by cracking weather, plenty to do for young families, perhaps need to travel a bit further for older children, my lads loved body boarding at West Wittering.
We stayed at Gabriel's Hall for 3 nights so that we could attend a family birthday party nearby. The house is in an excellent central position close to the beach and within easy walking distance of all attractions. We were a family of three generations, 7 adults and our three young granddaughters who thoroughly enjoyed staying in their holiday home. The girls were delighted with the scooters provided as well as the bucket and spades, sweets and big teddy bear. They happily scooted to the pier, the arcades and along the front and also enjoyed a fun game of crazy golf. A comfortable stay in a welcoming home.
4 couples with 7 children and 1 dog stayed here for New Year and enjoyed it very much. The house is decorated beautifully and has everything you need. Even milk in the fridge on arrival for a cup of tea and doggie biscuits to make them feel welcome. There were also 2 scooters left for us for the older boys which was a lovely touch.
Bognor Regis has lots to offer although need to go a bit further affield if the weather isn't so great, only so much time you can spend in the amusements. With it being christmas/new year there wasn't too many things for the kids open i.e. indoor play.
Sian & Dorothy were very attentive and on hand when we needed to use the buggy that we thought was available at Gabriel's Hall but ended up being at one of the other houses. A new one was soon delivered so we could use.
Only issue I have is that our deposit was not refunded in a reasonable time, I had to email Sian to ask her for this. Then when it was refunded, it was only 3/4 of what should have been. After a further chase (and a month after our stay) the rest was sent back.
Thank you again for letting us stay in this quirky and entertaining house.
This house was so perfect for my boyfriends birthday celebrations, there was 8 of us. There was plenty of room the living room was such a lovely size for us all to sit and socialise and have a drink.
Which didn't leave the house much as we wanted to make use of it but there was a few sports bars near for the boys and a morrisons 5 min walk around the corner.
The beach is literally 2 minute walk and the sunset we saw on the first day there was amazing!
Finally a massive thank you to Sian the house was lovely and she was so easy to communicate with we would defiantly return!
Thank you again to Sian
Our family really enjoyed staying at this deceptively spacious and beautifully decorated house. The owner Sian was very helpful before our stay giving us loads of information on the house and local area. We were welcomed with a bottle of bubbly, fresh flowers and cup cakes for the children and the heating was on which was a lovely touch and made us feel really at home. Our shopping was delivered before our arrival and everything was put away, bliss,. There are so many lovely thoughtful touches through out the house, from plentiful board games and scooters for the children to luxury toiletries and big fluffy towels. We had researched the area before arriving and had planned to visit lots of places but in the end we enjoyed relaxing in the huge sitting room, open fire and a great catch up with the family, We did enjoy a stroll down to the Lobster Pot and the kids loved scooting along the promenade. Lots of lovely memories, thank you.
