We chose duckmaloi because we thought our little one would like the animals. They claim to have every kind of animal and they're not far wrong! You can feed them any time and the cottages for staying in are beautifully maintained- although hot without air conditioning in summer. We loved our stay there.

This is a great location with good views over the countryside. The cottage is spacious and very comfortable. We saw lots of kangaroos early morning and late afternoon/evening. it is very peaceful as there are two cottages only and they are about 50 metres apart.

We stayed here for 2 nights with kangaroos doing by every afternoon and morning made the visit very special. Along with chances to feed the farm animals and pay done this made it a very relaxing stay. We bought goods from the local IGA and cooked them at the shed which had a BBQ. Overall the family enjoyed the break from the hustle of the city.

What a great escape, in a secluded spot with spectacular views. We arrived after booking online and receiving detailed instruction and directions. Our walk down to Duckmaloi River a highlight. Snow was a bonus, and novel for us Queenslanders. Power outages were unfortunate, but well handled with back up gas stove, and light.
