We loved this.
The tour guide knew lots about the processes practiced there.
Would LOVE to do the course.
Well worth a visit. Allow about 30 minutes minimum.

We visited and have always loved wooden boats .Now FTEs visiting we really want one. How lovely the people that work their are. Our tour guide was very passionate and loved his job. Followed by a trip on the Huon aboard the Yukon. It didn't get much better than that.

We called into this place but just missed the tour and we could not wait for the next one.The lady on the counter very obligingly gave us a mini tour and let us in to the display area. We did miss going into the workshop but what we saw and were told gave us a good insight into what they are doing there and the history of boat building in that area. I would certainly recommend the tour.

Richard was so interesting explaining about how the boats are made, what materials are used, a bit of history and answered any questions clearly. Terrific to know that young people are taking up an old tradition and learning boat building skills. A must to visit in a quaint little town.
