“Private and cosy with a view”
Reviewed May 18, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

At Winter-rate prices over two nights(& warm!), friendly home business staff and fast access to Freycinet National Park; couldn't have asked for a more pleasant coastal hideaway. Weather was appalling yet didn't detract from our site-seeing tour on our 2nd day afternoon into Wineglasss Bay/Freycinet NP. For a two night stay with 2 people some basic bathroom accessories were sorely lacking. Water Board accreditation for rainwater tanks 5 years overdue for a checkup.

“Excellent accommodation close to Freycinet National Park”
Reviewed February 25, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Great accommodation with everything you need. Super clean, comfortable, private and handy to the village of Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park. Ros was very easy to liaise with from our initial booking to the time we left.

Ros, Tim and their daughter LJ were sociable and willing sources of valuable information regarding the Freycinet area. Hazards Escape was fresh, comfortable, clean and close to all the attractions. We would happily stay there again. It was a real bonus having a well equipped kitchenette and deck to enjoy an afternoon beverage.

Upon booking Ros was very helpful and arrival to the property was very easy. Despite just staying for the 1 night, I really did feel at home! It was very comfortable and clean. This place is perfect for the solo traveller or a couple and its name ' Hazards Escape' is fitting! Everything was provided for and it's just a few minutes drive from Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay and other local attractions. I truly loved it and will look to book here again in my next visit to this gorgeous location!

Lovely little place for a quiet getaway. Greeted by Ros and Lilla, the owner and her gorgeous daughter. Very hospitable. Although small, it's very clean, modern and has everything you need. So warm and cosy with the underfloor heating. Just outside Freycinet National Park which is spectacular and a must see whilst in Tasmania. Highly recommend staying here and hope to be back one day.

“Fantastic value!”
Reviewed January 14, 2014 for a stay in January 2014

Modern studio apartment fully equipped with everything you could possibly need...including a nice little outside patio area to sip a wine whilst watching the sun set. Only thing missing was a washing machine, but I'm sure the friendly owner operator who lives in the adjacent townhouse (Rosalind) would do a load for you if required / you asked her to. Fantastic value in one of the most beautiful undeveloped seaside locations on the planet.
