We stopped here for a coffee following our visit to see the Tasmanian Devils. The service was excellent at it was one of the best coffees we had tasted on our trip. It was so good we decided to make a 50km round trip that evening for dinner.

We were the only people in the restaurant when we arrived and it felt like we were eating in our living room with a roaring fire. The chef was amazing, chatty, knowledgeable and keen to share his enthusiasm for local produce, we did have to stop him chatting at one point to remind him to cook!

I would encourage people to make the effort to support this restaurant, its in a small settlement so its going to rely on visitors eating there to keep it going. They even did pizzas in a proper wood fired oven.

Had an hour to kill before heading to the caves this morning and we rocked up on the doorstep of the Pepperberry as it opened. The guy working there couldn't have been more friendly. Made us a great big mug of delicious coffee and our daughters loved their tea and how it was thoughtfully presented. The complimentary berries for them were very welcome too. Highly recommend them!
