Probably the best surf and turf I've had for ages. The meal vegetables were also probably the best pub veg I can remember - and that's on Easter Sunday when the place is packed. Well done!

Happened to go for lunch at the same time as a wedding party. Staff were still attentive and we enjoyed a good lunch - they also catered for vegetarians.

The Bayside Inn is part of the hotel, the rooms are very clean but need updating. The staff look after you well we especially appreciated the help of Sally the Manager, getting our lost luggage ( by the airline) to our room.

After a not so good schnitzell at the RSL the night before this was a winner - Parma night was Thursday and the long que indicated it was popular - 4 types of Chicken Parma $15 each and come out quicker tha I thought

We left our decision late to visit Tasmania, giving our travel agent very little time to make the various required bookings. In St Helens we were booked at the Bayside In. We could not fault this place.
Our room was clean and reasonably spacious, not much of a view, but then we don't stay in hotels to admire the view from our room's windows. Rooms are only on two floors, very much on a motel style, that is on the ground floor and one floor above that. Naturally, there is no lift and one was not required. The rate was also reasonable. We had our breakfasts in one of the nearby cafe's and found no inconvenience in not having it in the motel.
A good, reasonably priced motel style accommodation, where some lucky guests have the pleasure to enjoy beautiful bay views.
I guess, one should make reservations earlier than we did and ask for bay views, subject to availability.

Thank Denis F
