Just returned from a fantastic week at Kaspar's with my wife. Website depicts the facility very accurately. Nicely furnished 2-BR cabins right on the lake, watched 4th of July fireworks from Cedar Point, just across the bay. Nice just to sit by the lake and enjoy the quiet.

Cabins were nice enough. Owners are not kid friendly. Will not take our family there again.

We stayed here one night in May. I understand these rent by the week in season, so we took advantage of the ability to rent for an evening.
Keeping in mind this is a modest cabin, it still exceeded expectations. It was a very simple cabin, but tidy and cozy. It is off the main rd, and they are along the lake. There is great space to sit out on the lake and watch the water. Every cabin has little charcoal grills (which we took advantage of). There is a beach, and I assume the swimming would be nice if it were warm enough.

Even though the website says sheets not included, they were on the bed. They were soft and comfortable so we used them. There are 2 small bedrooms with small double beds. We ended up each using a room b/c the beds were too small for 2 to sleep comfortably if one of them is a spawler. Even though there are 2 rooms, I think it would be hard to bunk up with too many people if privacy is valued. The cabin has vaulted ceilings, but none of the walls go all the way up, so light and noise could spill from one room to another.

we picked up nice steaks, adequete wine, and the makings for Caprese salad in the little market in downtown Marblehead-maybe 2 miles away. The owner will know the name of it, as he directed us there. We grilled out and spent an evening in-Highly recommended. Also recommended-pot of coffee watching the sunrise.
I am sure we will go back, we do not have the need to look elsewhere since it was so relaxing the Kaspar's.

My fiance & I decided to take a weekend & "get-away." We wanted somewhere close & rather afforadable with a wonderful view of Lake Erie & close to fun activities, like Cedar Point & Port Clinton. We found exactly this & more at Kaspar's Lakebreeze Cabins! Right down the street from downtown Marblehead & minutes away from the lighthouse, it sits right on the lake, within a tiny one-street neighborhood. Keep your eyes peeled, it's a bit hard to find on the first try - but it's worth the "hunt!"

There are about 5 cabins total on the property (with the owner's home on the same lot). The owners are a lovely couple who were so helpful as soon as we stepped foot on the site!

All of the cabins are furnished, with 2 bedrooms. Rollaway beds are available as well. We brought our own towels & such, but the beds were already made when we got there! There's a pretty accommodating kitchenette with a gas stove, refrigerator & freezer, microwave, and plenty of pots, pans, silverware, etc to use.

The bathroom was a tad on the small side & my 6'4" fiance had trouble with it, but other than that, it was nice. There are ceiling fans (& A/C if you need it) that keep the cabin pretty cool. There's a color TV, as well, but we didn't really use it at all. Maybe once to check the weather.

The grounds are just awesome, as well. Very quaint & inviting. There are picnic tables & charcoal grills in front of each cabin. There's enough room for two cars, I believe (we only had one) on the side of the cabin (& a side door to lug your loot in).

Out front near the lake, there's a jungle gym for the kids (or kid in you), along with cornhole & ladderball that they set up for fun. They have a gravel pier equipped with a small fishing dock on the right side of the pier. We did some fishing and did pretty well, considering it was Sept.

Also, if you DO get lucky with the fishing, they offer a cleaning table right by the water & available freezer space for your catch!

Overall, this was a nice get-away, nestled in the little town of Marblehead. Definitely a Must-See & a Must-Stay!
