Owner description: Tiny brick house where the inventor Thomas Edison was born. The museum features a collection of rare Edisonia, examples of many of Edison's early inventions, documents, & family mementos.

You won't spend a lot of time here but the Museum is well done. Milan is a great little town for a day trip for senior citizens or folks without very young children. Lots of little shops, antiques, a great pizza place, and good ice cream at the local drive thu. Sit and enjoy your ice cream in the town square gazebo.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback! It is a small place, but we try to give you the best tour we can. I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of Milan too!

Vernon, the young guide, was very well informed and made the guided tour interesting. I learned a lot about Edison, his family, and community life at that time.

Great historical sight, knowledgeable and likable guides, as well as within walking distance of a second museum. Scavenger hunt to keep my 9 year old brother happy too. He got some free bubbles out of it.

Small but interesting. Inexpensive. American history of an amazing man. He was born and raised in this house. Tour guides tell you all about his life and inventions.
