We have eaten here on a number of times and the food has always been fresh and tasty. They have the standard buffet items and soups, but their fruit and dessert selections are better than the standard buffets.

The staff is attentive and the restaurant has always been neat and clean. Prices were reasonable. I would recommend that you come hungry because you will certainly be full when you leave.

They are still open and good staff. Good prices and a very large buffet selection. The place is clean and the staff is freindly. I seen some bad comments but everyone deserves a second chance.

There is something that has carried over from when this restaurant was known as China Star, and it isn't a good thing. The China Star started off great but slowly slid into the abyss of neglect and uncleanliness; not apparent to the naked eye, but obvious to those of us who pay attention to detail. My family and I stopped dining there after we all began having cases of 'rumble-gut' after doing so. You can wash your hands before seating and clean your own table top with a wet paper towel fresh from the restroom as I did to my first visit to Shanghai Avenue, but still the 'rumble-gut' manages to visit. The place seems to still be plagued with neglect and cleanliness issues even though it 'apparently' has new ownership; at least it has a name changed and a slight remodel. Some of you may know what I mean by that it doesn't 'look' clean when you walk into the place. It doesn't have the glow that a place that is well-kept and maintained should have. It would pay to check the Tulsa County Health Dept. latest inspection before visiting. It's a shame, because it's in a great location and has a great layout for a buffet.
