My husband, 4-year old son and I stayed here since the places that we usually stay at were booked. The cabin is beautiful and the view is amazing. The drive to the cabin from the main highway is about 30-35 minutes on a very rough road. We had an AWD Dodge Durango and made it okay but the roads are not well-maintained, so be prepared for a rough ride. If you plan to stay at the cabin the whole time you are in Broken Bow and do not want to go into town, than you should be fine. The cabin is off the grid, so there is no hot tub since the cabin runs on a generator. There is no TV or Wi-Fi which is probably fine for the demographic that this cabin is targeted for. The ladder to the loft is straight up and runs parallel to the wall and we never went up because we didn't want to fall. There is room for a somewhat enclosed ladder and I would recommend that the owner add a new ladder close to the wall. The bottom step leading up to the front door is too high and my son fell, I would recommend adding on a smaller step to even out the height from the deck to the step. The shower was great and all of the appliances worked great. I would recommend an inexpensive table and chairs to put on the deck. We wanted to enjoy our dinner on the deck but there was no where to eat-easy fix though.
