We made a reservation and were glad we did as the place was full. The food is authentic Italian and there are lots of choices. They had a good wine list and the tiramisu we had for dessert was delicious. Our only complaint was that it was very noisy and it was hard to carry on a conversation.

This place is definitely worth going to if you're an Italian food lover. Although, it is expensive the food and wine are completely worth it.

When my husband made the reservation, he kind of laughed because the person answering the phone sounded drunk. When we arrived, the hostess seemed drunk too. They ran out of menus even though the place was only 1/2 full, so it was about 5 minutes after being seated before we got menus. Everyone around us was frowning as they were eating their food, and once I got mine I could see why.

We asked for a wine list & got a list of by the glass wines. It seemed like our waiter was covering the entire restaurant so we decided it wasn't worth the wait to ask for the wine list for bottles.

The pasta itself was quite good, but the sauce going with it tasted like it was out of a can & the wild boar looked like the dog treats that are shaped into fake steak shapes.
We had thought about giving desserts a try since this was our one night out in months, but we weren't even given the option. After our dinner plates were cleared, it took nearly 15 minutes before we saw our waiter again & at that time we had to get his attention to ask for the check.

We had the pear gorgonzola, beef tenderloin, beef tenderloin with marsalla sauce, tiramisu, and lemonciello. The beef tenderloins were excellent, cut them with a fork tender. The deserts were also excellent. The waitress we had was very attentive and helpful. We had a very lovely meal. Only negatives were they need a person going around filling waters or teas as ourvwaters stayed empty a little long. The bread was served cold and there was no spoon to ladle the provided oil onto your bread. And the staff, including the owner, went out of the way to greet and thank and give extra service to the regulars.. would've been more impressive if this same kindness, appreciation, etc. was extended to everyone. However these are just but picks as we will definitely go back.

This is definitely a special occasion or occasional restaurant as the prices are steep and more than most will want to pay on a regular basis, but the food is excellent and wine list extensive and I don't mind paying for a nice meal on occasion.

This is definitely a special occasion or occasional restaurant as the prices

Italian restaurants are for pasta. I got mushy pasta after specifically asking for "al dente" pasta. Very frustrating when you ask your hotel for the best Italian in Tulsa and then get served overcooked noodles. I expect this if I got to a typical italian chain-- not at one of the most expensive restaurants in Tulsa. The bread was delicious and my wifes' Calamari was decent. Thought it was funny when the manager avoided us like the plague when he was stopping at every other table to see how others were enjoying the dining experience. Many other less expensive choices in Tulsa. You can't be the best Italian if you don't master the basics --like pasta.
