After having stayed at some pretty sketchy places in Tulsa I was looking for a safe, recently remodeled, close to the Expo Square, with breakfast place. Wingate was a great find! The building was clean, fresh and well maintained. Parking was a bit tight but everything else (with the exception of the maid service - spotty and didn't leave new lotion/shampoo/etc and the pillow cases which seemed unusually worn and thread bare) was really good. I would stay here again and hope that they get a better handle on the maid service. The location is decent and easy/quick drive to Expo Square. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Fits the Wingate standard!

Room tip: Ask for a room on the back side away from the road. 4th floor was a great choice.

A family reunion between cousins prompted this particular trip, and the Wingate was an ideal location. Close to family, with easy access, and the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The staff was very helpful when some of our party's travel plans changed. I recommend this hotel highly.

Just DON'T stay here. Hard beds, not pillow top as advertised and rooms and halls smell really bad. They advertise as non-smoking hotel, but definitely had a smoky smell as it gave me a scratchy throat just being in my room 5 minutes. Will never stay again.

We think you mistaking our hotel with other hotel. Our hotel is 100% smoke free and we never had complain about smoking smell any where in our hotel that including guest room. Town name from Texas in your review is not coming up in our system. There is no complain in our daily log book about any body complaining about smoky smell during your review posted date.

For overall offerings. Good price but considering the enormous competition this hotel is about $40 overpriced per night. Good breakfast, fast in & out. I've been here before and the checkout time was abhorrent before but that has been rectified.

We stopped here for the night while traveling, and found a comfortable place. On check-in, Myra was cordial and got us settled in. The room was clean, but not extra spacious with one side of the bed having no night stand and situated pretty close to the wall/air conditioner. The bathroom was clean, but they only furnished two sets of towels, so if you need more you can ask for them. We had a light bulb that was burned out and they readily replaced it. In fact the night clerk, Toni, who had worked a double shift, went out of her way to get one and was very responsive to our needs. It was nice to find grab bars in the tub/shower, which frequently is omitted in some motels. The fitness center was well equipped with a bike, treadmill, weight machine and elliptical skier, which was out of order. We did not use the indoor pool, but it was a salt water pool, which for some folks not wanting the chlorine, is a plus. The hotel doesn't have a re-cycling program, and it would be nice to be more environment-friendly. The business center was located in an enclosed room which was nice and quiet, the computers were responsive, and the chairs very comfortable. Breakfast was hot, varied, and well stocked, with a large dining area. Toni checked us out and provided friendly, efficient service during our stay. High five to her! Overall, I give this hotel an A rating and would stay here again.
