Spur of the moment date, called and they were most happy to seat us at the bar immediately. Ambiance was good, service was even better. Bartender showed great attention to detail. Food was pretty good. We will definitly return, although kinda pricey but the experience (good food +atmosphere + service) trumps the price for me. Server actually gave my wife some truffles after dinner, classy touch!

Treated by two close friends...dined, laughed, enjoyed the superb food and dining. Everything was delicious from my salad to steak. But every time I think of Mahogany; I remember the delicious hot fresh bread brought out on a wood carving board. A baguette of sorts. Toasty on outside and soft and steamy on the inside accompanied by whipped butter as to not rip the bread. Wines galore available as well as a full bar menu.

Went to dinner here with family to celebrate my 75th birthday. From the moment we arrived the entire experience was first class. The service from the two servers assigned to our table was the best and the meal, while pricey, as most exclusive steak restaurants are, was perfect. Filet, Salmon, Sea Bass and more were served to us and all enjoyed the evening immensely.

This is our second trip to Mahogany's, mainly because someone gave us a gift card. This place is only for those who don't care about money. Frankly, everything was great, but why spend nearly $11 for a side dish of carrots. One can eat next door at Charleston's more than half the cost. Our gift card was for $60 and once we got the cheapest cut of meat, one side salad to split, and one disk of baby carrots to share, plus the tip, the bill was $86.77. We also noticed that the on-line menu is out of date - items and prices have changed. Unless someone else is buying, this will be our last trip to Mahongany's.

The lobster appetizer is without a doubt the best ever! I have also never had a bone in filet. It was perfection. Do not miss going to this place.
