We went out to dinner every night, and The Irish Table and Castaways were neck-and-neck as the best restaurants that we visited. Everything on the small menu was thoughtfully planned and our meals were delicious. Our server was a real pro.

This is a must for any foodie who visits Cannon Beach. The food is excellent as is the ambiance. The staff is friendly and welcoming no matter how harried they might be due to the constant flow. In fact, they work together seamlessly like an orchestrated ballet. There are communal tables if that's to your liking or cozy private ones for a romantic tete a tete. I had the cod served over a bed of wild rice, complemented by tender asparagus and roasted tomatoes that popped with intense flavor in my mouth. My husband had the vegetarian shepherd's pie and said it was fab. We started our repast with yummy curried mussels. The broth was out of this world! Oh, and the soda bread. Worth the trip alone but be careful. It is dense, addictive and quite filling. We'll be back!

This place is the Sleepy Monk coffee shop during the day and converts to the Irish Table in the evenings. Small menu is packed with wonderful items. Excellent service.

It's winter and it's cold outside. The Irish Table is cozy, comfortable, and tasty. While I only had the potato soup, the presentation was special and the meal excellent. My wife had the seafood special and she was pleased.
