We had two nights here. All rooms have a harbour view. We were on the ground floor with seats outside. Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast choices for small and large appetites. I had the pancakes, fruit bowl and bacon. Very tasty. The welcome was good with lots of additional amenities, food store, fridges, complimentary chocs and sherry.
Bed was comfortable and a short walk to harbour and the sea.
Great location and very quiet. Enjoyed our stay here.

My fiancé and I visited the inn for a fishing trip. I must say the welcome was awesome. We got greeted by a pretty little pup named "Hannah" it was most welcoming. The owner/hostess of the inn was very helpful and super sweet. What I like most about this inn is that it was quant and eclectic. We will be coming back with our little Pug to play with Hannah
Thanks for a nice stay

Classic B&B. Inn keeper, Chef, Host all in one. Great hospitality. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Ours had a fireplace and some had a hot tub. All rooms had a small patio with a view of the harbor. Even a cruet of sherry and some chocolate for night cap. Adults only!!!! Not that I don't like kids, but some times you need to get away. Food is the real deal, local, sustainable and delicious. Crab, Halibut, etc. The best part was Hanah. Cutest dog with run of the facility. If you grab her leash off the wall or even say the word "walk" she is at your feet nudging you. Then she takes you on a just over a mile walking trail along a creek in the forest canopy. Her 50 pounds of muscle can assist you up the hills. We would love to have a dog, but we are never home so not be fair to the dog. We seriously joke about renting a dog. Too serendipitous.

Room Tip: Higher floor is best.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and bright, with a lovely private balcony (big enough for a little bistro table and 2 chairs) and a view over the harbor marina, complete with the occasional seal sighting (we appreciated the binoculars in the room).

The bed was extremely comfortable, we enjoyed the complimentary sherry (and the other treats available 24 hours a day downstairs), and took advantage of a very solid free movie library at night. Our room even had a fireplace. The inn also has a very friendly owner and staff and a sweet dog, Hannah, who love attention from guests.

The breakfast was a real standout- made to order with lots of options to choose from, our veggie and egg scrambles were scrumptious, and the fruit offered was really fresh. We tried dinner in the onsite restaurant, too, and it was quite good. (pasta, seafood). We'd definitely stay again.

The only drawback I can see is if you want to go up to town after checking in, it's a bit of a hilly walk skirting the harbor, so if you have mobility problems, you should just drive up and park in the little public lot closer in to 101. The Inn is 21+, so don't book for a young family trip by mistake. Great place for grownups to unwind after a day of whalewatching!

What a great find this was. Nestled right next to a working marina - be aware you will have authentic harbor sounds from just before dawn to dusk - but that's what we felt was part of it's charm and enjoyed it very much. Hannah the dog is indeed the official greeter and makes sure you know to follow her in the front door to the desk. Friendly owner. Hot cooked to order breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
