We first experienced Erath Pinot Noir well over a dozen years ago in Chicago. It was high on our list of wineries to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed tasting other Erath wines that are not on the shelves in IL & MI.

Pau, who happened to be handling the tasting room when we arrived, is quite knowledgeable and friendly to boot! Definitely worth a visit!

Thank Dave M

We throughly enjoyed our visit with Paul as he was pouring our flights. We thought all the wines were good and purchased one to drink that evening. Good winery to visit!

Erath is always so PRETTY and oddly quite homey. The staff are friendly, quick and if you are there doing a flight it's done slightly different but much more streamlined in the case you're there during a rush. They bring all the tastes out and then you pour them in your glass instead of having to stand at a counter or return to the counter which makes it a space to be very social with limited interruption which is kinda cool.

I was there with a group of six and we all had a wonderful and relaxing time.

If you are in for some adventure they do a 4-bottle mystery box for $65 - I HIGHLY recommend this as a Christmas white elephant gift as long as you don't open it up before so it's actually a surprise to everyone. Everyone needs a little mystery in their life! ..... right?

Erath is one of the better known names from the valley and well worth visiting. They live bicyclers, and it's a nice climb to the Winery, which means you'll earn your tasting and the view. If you are selecting wineries to visit, you need to include them on your list.

For the most part, the tasting rooms were very nice in the Willamette Valley, Oregon area. When you visit several of them, the cream rises to the top. Erath was nice, but, not outstanding. Landscapes were very pretty outside with seating to relax.
