We arrived at Klamath Falls and checked into the Maverick Hotel, still had a bit of time before dinner so we walked over to grab a geocache nearby which happened to be on the museum grounds. We just missed closing time, so came back after breakfast the next day. What a great museum! The building itself (Klamath Armory) was well worth the $5 to get in.

There are some eye-opening Native American historical displays at this museum. Young and old alike will find information about the settling of this area of Oregon and the effect on the native people.

A large array of artifacts and local history. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. There is a nice gift shop on site. I originally visited the museum in the summer of 2016. I highly recommend visiting the museum if you are in the area!

My huband and daughter were interested in the model train display at the museum so that is what brought us in. We also had a 3 year old with us. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole museum! So much interesting history and the hands on exhibits that kids can learn from too were very neat! The manager Todd is a great asset to our community as he is filled with knowledge and very friendly. Last but not least the building itself is beautiful and it alone has a ton of history! Amazing how many famous people have passed through! Highly recommend a visit here!
