Booked a non smoking room through Priceline. Checked in...eventually because the gal didn't know how to use the pc system. Checked in, then as you opened the door to the room it just hit you horribly...disgusting! It was a smoking room!! Went down to the office and were told we were stuck with it because they were booked. The manager was at lunch and we could come back when she returned, and she would give us a refund. When we first came back, at first the manager wouldn't come to the front to talk to us she would only send messages through the gal working the front desk. Eventually since we weren't going away and the Lobby was getting busy she came up front. The manager said since we had checked in we were stuck with the room. We explained that unless we did check in we wouldn't have known it was a smoking room because the gal didn't say anything about. She eventually said fine but she couldn't give us a refund because we booked through a 3rd party!!! We immediately called Priceline and they spoke with the hotel representative and we were given a refund....Terrible hotel, no rating should qualify for it!!

Room Tip: Call ahead and make sure you are booked into the type of room you are looking for smoking or NON!!

Unfortunately when you book through a third party like priceline or expedia their system will not differentiate between smoking and non-smoking rooms. So on busy nights our smoking rooms get rented by third parties as non smoking. That is why I always recommend calling the hotel directly to book your room. The rate will be the same.

Drive up motel. All rooms with exterior doors. We had a room with 2 queens 2 adults 2 teenagers.
Carpets and mattresses at least 30 years old. Worn in paths on carpets and body shaped dips in the mattresses. Home maid bed supports back boards are different wood and style. All other furniture is mixed and unmatched almost like it was purchased from a thrift store or garage sale.
One positive: Bathroom Very CLEAN but very old pink tub brown tile. But only three towels even though the room can sleep 4.
Other positives there is an outdoor pool. it is very small but it does exists. The room had a fridge and a microwave.

In my reservation, I requested the my room to be located away from the neighboring Burger King drive thru. This request was not successful. The front desk staff said that all the rooms located away from BK (about 2/3 of the hotel) were assigned before my request was seen. Translation - They don't know how to use their computer system.

The room was well-cleaned and acceptably appointed. As other reviewers have noted, the rooms could use some updating. The AC unit (looked a bit old) worked, but not particularly well. Adjusting the dial temp gauge had no real impact on the temp of the room. The temp was okay, but I would have preferred a couple of degrees colder.

The shower was a good shower. The towels were nice and soft.

The pool and pool area are small, but very well maintained. We enjoyed them on what was a couple of hot, sunny days. The area is within eyesight of the front office. The couple who manage the hotel have a table they sit at which is located very near the pool. There is a slight feeling of being under surveillance. Pools have to be watched, I understand, but the vibe rubbed me the wrong way a little.

The provided breakfast was acceptable but modest. They did not have milk, and also no dry cereal, which struck me as strange to omit. Its easy to provide milk and cereal, isn't it?

I left feeling generally content. We got what we paid for. The hotel was not excellent, but it was good for the price paid.

We only stayed on night as we were traveling through to Idaho.

Pros:
Clean
Quiet
Decent breakfast

Cons:
Bed/pillows a bit uncomfortable
The rooms lack wall outlets
The water pressure was great, but seemed too much for the drain

Overall, it's was alright, served its purpose for us for one night.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great rates, super nice managers, the rooms were a bit dated but very clean, continental breakfast was better than expected. We have a small dog and there was a $10 fee to bring her in but the room smelled great and there's an area in the back where we could walk her. All in all a great stay - would definitely stay here again.
