Le Grande Oregon is a total gem! The RV park is clean and perfectly maintained. The hot spring pool is nice and the perfect temperature to help relax tired muscles. The restrooms are clean and well maintained as well. I would definitely stay here again and plan to explore Le Grande's down town next time.

My wife and daughter found this campground for a mini-family reunion for families in Washington, Idaho, and Utah. This is the best campground park I have tented in the last 20 years. The staff was fantastic -- very friendly and very responsive to any needs. Ask and they can get it for you or tell you where you can get it. The price was extremely, extremely reasonable.

The campground is extremely clean and the staff is constantly cleaning it. The outside pool and hot tub were very nice. It is close to I-84 and to La Grande, OR and any shopping you need can be done there. If coming from the west, get off at the exit with the Flying J, stay turn left, stay on the road and you run into it.

We were an 1/2 hour away from fishing and canoeing. There were 5 birding sites (one adjacent to the campground) in the area, and all the amenities needed.

They are strict that dogs must be leashed, which is great because we have several dogs and it is difficult when you are responsible with pets and others are not.
Overall, an extremely wonderful experience. Wish I could rate them higher.

We were looking for a place with a good soaking spa, and this park really filled the bill. We were there in late March, and there was actually some hail while we were soaking, which made it even more fun. The spa is very large, at about 8x12 feet, and a perfect temperature to soak for awhile. There is also a small pool for swimming, but it was not operating while we were there. The park is large, but in late March had few people staying, and no one was in the spa anytime we were. That time of year, it's dark early in the evening, so a night soak is even more fun. Did I mention we really liked the spa? The park is changing its name (I forget to what), but same ownership and same amenities as far as I could ascertain. Very clean, well maintained, lots of flowers, trees, birds, and across the road from a wildlife refuge.

We were getting beat up with wind pulling our trailer, so we snuck in here, calling it an early day. Facilities were clean and orderly. Grounds were very pleasant with great area for dog use and walking around the stream. Pad was a pullthrough (I don't think they had any back-ins) and very long. It was gravel and grass... but quite nice.

Shower room was clean, but lacks a bit as the fan was horribly noisy and didn't seem to suck out the steam and space wasn't effectively used. Room temp was too hot, which was a bit of a waste, I think. The outside pool looked nice (with hot tub), but we didn't partake (I'm not sure it was open).

This is located very near the hot springs, so one could perhaps take a dip over there. We didn't investigate.

Signage getting there is a bit sparse, so keep your eyes open. We arrived from the west and the interstate. The access road was a coulple miles of very dusty road. You can also arrive from the north, which is paved except for the last 100 yds.

Registration was very easy as we called early and found out the office would be closed when we arrived (this was late Feb... definitely off season). Rate was a bit steep, I thought, as this was off season and maybe 10 sites were used... out of maybe a 100!

We discovered Eagles Hot Lake RV Park on our trek from the Seattle area to the Grand Canyon. To this date this is by far our favorite park ever visited. It is well laid out, large, clean restrooms, great internet access and quiet lovely views.

This pro is a must visit on every trip through the area. Try it and become a believer.
