I stayed at the Townplace Suites for 3 nights. This hotel met my needs for business travel. It is about 2 miles from downtown and convenient to a number of restaurants. The staff is very friendly. On my first day, the hotel manager provided me with guidance and recommendations on where to go for a hike, not too far from the hotel.
The rooms were very clean. The bed’s mattress was a little soft, but the bed was comfortable and I had a good night sleep. I had requested a room facing the parking lot (other reviewers said it was noisy if you faced the street), and it was very quiet at night. The room was small, and a lot was packed into my studio room. A small kitchenette with stove and fridge if you wanted to cook, a desk, sofa and queen size bed. There was not a kitchen table. The room was a comfortable size for one person, but might become crowded if there were two people there for an extended stay. Breakfast was included, and adequate. Nothing fancy. The same thing was served every day, so you won’t find much variety. The only fresh fruit are bananas and oranges. If you are loyal to Marriott, this is one of 3 options. Nothing fancy, but it met my needs and much better than I expected.More
