A nice place for walks of any length among the trees. The trails are well maintained and marked; maps are available at the visitor center. As someone who lives in flat terrain, I will mention there are some inclines but they are moderate and certainly easy enough for young children. I noticed some older people sitting on a few benches resting and talking in the area too. This is near the zoo and children’s museum, and only a short distance from the Rose Garden and Japanese Garden.
