This Crowne Plaza has very nice rooms, great food and a pretty good location. It is about three blocks from the Rose Garden Arena (where the Blazers play), but that makes it across the river from the heart of the city.
Easy to get to from the freeway, and a very short trip to the downtown shopping and dining districts.
Service level is very high, consistent with the Crowne Plaza brand. Staff is very professional, very helpful. Restaurant and Room Service both are quite good, and fairly reasonable.

Excellent value. The rooms were comfortable with great views of the city. This hotel is close to the convention center and light rail. The Lloyd Center is also very close.I found the staff to be very friendly. Parking in the lot can be full early in the evening; we had to use valet parking because there is hardly any street parking.

I stay here somewhat regularly, 3-4 times per year, as much as any hotel. The stay is usually fueled by business (meeting, party etc..) but usually extends in to an extra night or two. The staff here is always fantastic, friendly and attentive. The east side location is close to the Rose Garden and Convention Center, which means close to public transportation if you need it. Located just a couple blocks off I-5, it is perfect if you are driving! Plenty of food options close to hotel, and if you just need a drink, the bar just off the lobby is more than adequate! Definitely recommended for the business traveler.

Great room and very helpful staff, We were VERY disappointed to find out we had to pay $15 a night for parking but room was nice. The bartender down in the restaurant was super helpful and nice.

One of my best experiences with a hotel. Nice rooms, decent gym, exercise room, pool, restaurant. Price was excellent. I have stayed in hotels twice as expensive that were not as nice. They had lots of extras too - umbrellas to borrow, city bikes to borrow! free!
Close to the Max.

Slight negative was parking was $15/night. But if you weren't leaving the car at the hotel during the day you can often find street parking for free at night.
