What a wonderful hotel for Portland week-end! Parking(free) on site, streetcar stop right outside, good breakfast, all wrapped in artsy, urban setting. I'm picky about towels/sheets. Our bedding was soft; towels 'fluffy'. Most of all, we appreciated the staff: for first timers to Portland, they were fantastic, w/ideas to supplement our own exploration! Complimentary passes for streetcar-icing on the cake! We enjoyed the NW neighborhood, restaurants, grocery/shops within a few blocks of hotel. Thank you, Northrup Inn!

We really wanted to not stay in a chain hotel for our trip to PDX and the Inn at Northrup Station fit our plans very well. Free parking. Fun and colorful decor. Good attention to detail. Generous size suite; clean and in good condition. Right on bus line, which made getting around very simple. Near restaurants, shopping, and sites; but in a quieter area. Would definitely recommend.

For those of you that have read the rave reviews below, I can tell you it's all true. This is a fun place to stay. The rooms are nicely laid out and there is a large chose of pillows Breakfast is a great way to start the day along with a number of like minded fellow travelers. You can, if you like, strike up a conversation or just enjoy the fresh fruit and good coffee, yogurt and waffles. The location is fine. It is on the streetcar line and for the adventurous it's a great way to get to some of the sites in the city. The only hitch is the parking. It is a chore to find a space when returning late at night. PS there are umbrellas to borrow for the timid or those not familiar with Portland.

Hello Zaxes!

Thank you for choosing the Inn!

We have found that our guests love using us as a launch pad for their Portland Adventures, and with the streetcar, it's easy to get most places in our fun city! Parking is first come, first served, and in our busier months it can fill up pretty fast. We are proud to be able to offer our lot as an amenity for our guests, and we try to accommodate everyone. Next time you visit us, I hope you can partake in one of our parking lot parties!

We look forward to hosting you again!

My husband and I stayed at this property a few years ago when visiting Portland for a vacation. When we had a conference in Portland, we immediately booked because we loved the property so much. We were pleased that the funky vibe and good service remains the same.

The spacious rooms have a contemporary decor, and all rooms have a full kitchen. There's plenty of space to work or relax after a day of business. The bathrooms are spacious and clean, and the water pressure is outstanding.

We enjoyed the daily continental breakfast (with locally-sourced items), and we wished we could have taken advantage of the evening cocktail hour with Oregon wine and craft beer. Alas, work obligations prevented that. The free streetcar passes came in extremely handy, and the free internet access was decent.

The staff was extremely helpful in providing directions and information. The location can't be beat. Although the Inn is not centrally located to downtown, it's an easy streetcar ride away. This is a quiet Northside neighborhood, and there are great shops, coffeehouses, restaurants, bars, and groceries nearby.

I love this hotel, and I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Portland.

Bright Tulip Colors, Art and Cutsy Stuff is all around. Friendly staff are in nice normal clothing. This is not a corporate hotel. This has long colorful halls and adequate parking. Acceptable breakfast with fresh brewed coffee. The beds were comfortable. The rooms larger than most places. The kitchen has refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink, no range. Quality tea and Keurig coffee in the kitchen area. Computer desk in the room. All in all, my wife, myself, and my teenager were happy here.

Room tip: Small balconies were not important

Hello Caldera168!

Thank you for choosing the Inn!
It sounds like you were able to enjoy one of our Queen Suites. Our King Suites have a range, and make it super easy to cook full meals. I'm also glad to hear you enjoyed our decor. It certainly makes it a fun place to be! Hopefully you had some Starburst too!

We look forward to hosting you again!
