Convenient stay for traveling on The Max Light Rail

My Husband and I scored a great deal for $84/night for a 2 queen room through Priceline. Not only is this hotel across the street from Lloyd Center Mall for shopping, it is also located next to a Max Light Rail stop. This was especially convenient since we traveled down to Portland to attend a Blazers game! (5-10 minute ride to the Moda Center)

The room itself was pretty spacious and clean. The beds were comfy, shower pressure was good and there were no issues with the drain. (hallelujah! lol)

All in all, this was a great deal for the amount we paid. Also, the warm cookies given upon check-in are always delicious!

CONS:
$20 for parking (in + out privileges)

Business Trip

Overall this was a very pleasant stay. If I need to be in this area again I would stay here. Having the mall right across the street is a good selling point. Close to the metro train. Just a short walk. Great food very friendly staff.

A wonderful place to stay!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and good sized. This is not the first time I have stayed here for business. I was really glad that the Double Tree Hilton was picked again this year for our business conference.

Overdue Review - Manager Terry is the Best

I had a decent stay here for a business trip. I took a survey that came through my email and there were no major gripes, but some things that could be improved. Let me just say that the response I got back blew me away. I actually got a response from the manager Terry. He called to understand some of the issues more clearly. I was basically not getting a call back on a lost item that I left behind. I think I tried 3 times to get someone to give me a response. It was my shampoo and conditioner in re-usable travel containers I just bought. They were not gonna break bank but they were not cheap either. Anyway, Terry went over and beyond to fix the issue in my opinion.

Usually when you take survey you figure nothing happens or you never hear back. So, I still even remember Terry's name, because he really went the extra mile and I would come back to this Double Tree in a heartbeat.

I am not sure if Terry is still there, but he must be a great manager to have anywhere.

Feedback

Room: not clean. Lip Stick on the coffee mug - yuck Stray hairs on bathroom and on bed Needed to ask for water for my room Didn't receive a folio, after being told it would be emailed. Called again and it was emailed.
