We won this hotel on a bidding site, and likely paid a lower than average rate. We were two women travelling together. As it goes with bidding sites, we had only one double bed in the room as all of the two bedded rooms were sold out.
The room was not very clean on check in, but the hotel had a cat convention in house and they were very busy, so unable to move us. The pen in the compendium looked to have been used to eat toffee or something brown by the previous guest. Chair in the room had a unsightly stain on it. Just gave us an overall feeling of ick. Coffee, tea, shampoo, conditioner, glassware and towels were not replenished fully the second day. It was like the maid had rushed through the room and forgot to come back.
Bed was very comfy, we did request a change if one came available to a room with a larger bed, but we never did have that chance.
Parking garage was very big and convenient to the entrance. The hotel is also situated directly on the transit line, so getting to and from downtown or the stadium was simple.
Front desk staff were friendly, but hotel operator really was not helpful or nice at all - so average rating on the service overall.
There are no fridges in the rooms and bring your own wine opener!
Coffee bar - good coffee - but I would choose to eat outside of the hotel. Much better options.
There is a pool - but it is outdoors - so a summer amenity only.
I would come back for location only. Just not a great experience overall.
