Standard room is very small...so i had room switch to regular room size was ok... Hair Dryer is old and dirty...hotel parking is $25(little expensive also dirty)... Morning breakfast buffet is ok decent choices).. place need little remodeling..ok to stay for price...

I booked the Presidential Suites for two nights, 17 & 18 June along with 6 other rooms for guests. It was approximately 1150 square feet, large bedroom with enormous bathroom, biggest I've ever been in. It also has a half bath off the living area. 3 large balconies, one off bedroom, living room and dining room. It has a large dining table with seating for 8. There is a bar area with sink and mini fridge. I had a reception there Saturday night with all my guest from other rooms which totaled 15 people. There was enough room to accommodate all with plenty of room left over. The suite itself was lovely but is showing some wear and tear. Woodwork is skuffed and scratched, wallcoverings beginning to separate, electrical outlets loose. It would be nice if the balconies had furnishings, a lot of space and no way to sit and enjoy the views. Bar area could use some bar stools also. Maybe even add some utensils to the bar. Would not take much for this room to be absolutely fabulous. The location is excellent, just outside the hotel is a light rail stop, 20 minutes to airport from there at a $2.50 fee. The Moda Center is less than 1/2 mile and the Lloyd center mall is across the street. A beautiful park directly across the street also. I enjoyed the mountain view better than the city view. All the front desk staff were curtious, professional and friendly. We had lunch for 14 people at the restaurant Gather and the service was great and very accommodating even without advanced reservations. There is coffee available in lobby for no charge until 6 am. After 6am a coffee kiosk opens for a fee. The lobby area appears to have been recently updated and was quite nice. A lot of space to sit, relax and people watch. The elevators were fast and there seemed to be enough. Chocolate chip cookies at checkin were yummy! There is covered parking available for $25 per night or $35 for valet. All in all I would book this hotel again without hesitation.

Room tip: I enjoyed the mountain/pool view as opposed to the city view.

This hotel is right next to a rail stop. All of the car rental companies at the airport were sold out, soI took the rail from the airport, took about 25 minutes. Then got a rental car from a remote location. The hotel itself is ho-hum. Older. Bed not very comfy. AC is old style wall unit. I ordered room service for breakfast, just scrambled eggs and a fruit cup, and had to find a bathroom about 2 hrs later. I thought the eggs tasted a little funny, but chalked it up to hotel fare. I may consider staying here again if I need to take the rail and I don't order room service.

This hotel is fabulous. Clean, spacious, great location. You can get anywhere in Portland from here. We came from the airport, hotel is right next to Maxrail. Also right next to a lovely park. The staff is very attentive and eager to make sure your stay is pleasant.

I've read mixed reviews of this hotel but I have to say I was very satisfied with my stay. The property was clean, staff courteous, & breakfast was excellent. We are a family of 5 and the "large" room gave us ample space.

Good and the bad

Non- existent AC - old central AC unit that doesnt cool your rooms down if it gets warm outside- operates on an old Boiler system.
We loved the location, walking distance to restaurants , shops, and the light rail. Very friendly staff spacious rooms , asked for a microwave and fridge on the mobile check in but didnt get one. Except for the AC we really were impressed with the place. If they upgrade the AC or the temps. Outside doesnt get to hot you will enjoy staying here.
We did call down to express our concerns on no AC but front desk acknowledged there wasnt a lot they could do.
