Was in Portland for a conference and selected this hotel from the options provided. I liked the proximity of the hotel to the Lloyd Center MAX stop that runs to the airport and other locations. The hotel is definitely aged as seen from the outside and the rooms themselves.
I initially selected a room in the Mezzanine level (210) which is actually underground below the lobby level. After a few hours in the room, I heard water flowing through the pipes above the A/C Unit which lasted all evening. I asked the desk if I could move and they weren't able to move me the first night.
Next afternoon I spoke with Anthony at front desk and he moved me with no problem at all and apologized. (Shout out Anthony, thank you!) Room was smaller than previous but much quieter.
