Remote location. Nothing fancy just good home cooked food. Good anytime but I love their breakfasts!

We had a very good breakfast after we finally found the place. Service was very good too. They could use a sign out at the road because the only sign we saw was under the overhang right at the entrance door. If it were not for all the cars in the lot at breakfast time, you could easily miss the place.

Stopped at Brass Pelican for brunch Sunday afternoon with friends. Although it was some what busy, a table was cleared and set for us immediately. Our server had a "playful" attitude which made our visit very enjoyable. The food was served in a timely manner and was hot. The facility was clean and neat. We had an enjoyable time.

Famous for "buckwheat pancakes", this back woods restaurant has many other menu items. The food is good "home cooking" and inexpensive. Literally off the beaten path in rural north central PA, it is worth the drive if you're traveling through the area to get an idea of PA, the mountains, hunting areas.
