The dining room's inviting ambiance of fiery orange glows and warm, lemon yellow and chocolate brown banquettes delivers a kindred spirit to Nectar's distinctive menu.

The reason I am not giving this is an excellent is that we were here for lunch and it was very quiet. Our service was attentive but not overwhelming. We went for lunch. My friend created her own salad and I had the lunch special and an additional appetizer. The lunch special was reasonably priced and very good Soup and a noodle dish with wild game. We had two drinks each and split a delicious dessert. All of the desserts sounded great. There are selections for non-sushi or meat eaters and gluten-free items are available.
This would not be a place for a quiet or romantic dinner the tables are almost on top of one another. There is a bar and parking

My husband and I went to Nectar on a Friday night with our 2 teenagers. We have had many wonderful meals there over the years. Three of us love sushi and as we were eating, all recognized that quality really does make a huge difference. Other local sushi places can’t hold a candle to the fish quality offered at Nectar. The non-Sushi eater in our family also always finds something delicious to have, and there are so many options to choose from. This time he had wok-fried beef: again, super quality, lots of good tasty meat in a flavorful sauce. And how can we not mention the wonderful cocktails, and the service, and the ambiance?

Nectar is a very good restaurant. Everyone is friendly, from the car valet to the host to the wait staff. Drinks are substantial. Food selection has a great variety and everything that we sampled was done to perfection. While the noise level can be a little high, that just adds to the festive atmosphere of the restaurant. Highly recommended.

This was our first time here with friends. We loved every single thing we ordered from appetizers to dessert. The chocolate torte dessert with raspberry was wonderful. The atmosphere is a little dark and some tables are right next to your neighbors which we thought could be better and it seems like the restaurant could use an overall thorough deep cleaning. We would return for the delicious food though.

I’ve been to Nectar many times over the years - mostly in groups - and it’s ranged from okay to good. But this time was terrible. It was two woman out for a birthday dinner. It wasn’t busy but it took 15 min to get a server to take our drink order, then a long wait for drinks and appetizers. Very long wait for entrees... brought the wrong meal. Had to wait for correct meal. Then long wait for dessert. No apologies from server or manager. Nectar used to be a hot spot but maybe it’s just getting tired. There are too many restaurants on the main line to give Nectar another chance - won’t be going back.
