What a lovely little surprise this was. Sweet food, quirky interior, friendly staff. It's super cool inside and the food was delicious! WE loved it and would definitely return if in that area! Thanks for making such a cute little spot!

I've been here for lunch a few time with co-workers and they always have very fresh and unique takes on traditional food! The French Onion soup was one of the best I've ever had!

Took our 8 year old granddaughter for lunch. Staff very kid friendly. The menu really not so much. Fortunately they had a mac and cheese with short ribs that was okay with our young lunch mate.

I gave it 4 stars ‘cause the food was amazing and isn’t that 80% of the battle?

Called for a reservation on a Saturday afternoon around 2 and a girl named Rickie answered. “Please hold.” 15 minutes later...nothing. She never came back. Rude. So we booked online and although we didn’t get the time we preferred, we at least got in. They have a lot of high tops, so if you’re not comfortable with that, be sure to ask for a regular table when you make your reservation. You know, if they come back to the phone...

Our waiter was as bad as his breath (I hate to say that, and can honestly say that in a lifetime of dining out, I’ve never experienced anything like it). We had ordered starters and salads and as they cleared, they’d take our silverware. When dinner came, he was there with the tray of flatware, left a couple knives, and off he went. Between the 4 of us, we had 6 knives, but not a single fork.

There were people coming at us from all sides. By the end of the meal we must’ve had over four people servicing the table. 3 of our 4 starters came out and it was a solid 5+ minutes before the last one showed up. So we all sat and waited together. Weird. I don’t know how new the place is, and if it just opened this month, then the erratic nature of the service would make sense. However, if they’ve been open awhile, there’s no defense for it.

But as I said, the food was fantastic!

From all of the reviews on the Stone Rose, my expectations were a bit elevated. But after dining there tonight, it was just so so. We looked at the menu and thought we’d try the burger that the waitress told us was everyone’s favorite. And she said it would be really big. I guess “really big” is relative. It was a good not so big burger on a slightly dry big brioche bun. The fries, however, were exceptional! Home made thick cut fries. Service? Very pleasant but a bit hard to get the waitress due to the number of tables she was handling. Would we go back? Maybe, but there are many other places I think would be worth a try.
