I say this with full knowledge that it could have just been the room we picked. We wanted a back room to insure we didn't hear street traffic in the AM. The room was a great size with plenty of draw space, the bed was an old-fashioned high bed of amble size, the TV worked well but is placed on a low table and was not viewable from a reclining position. The bathroom contained the necessities but there was no space to lay anything down and the shower was about the size of a telephone booth. There were none of the usual amenities you expect in a hotel/motel, so remember to pack your hairdryer. The hallways and stairwell are dimly lit, which can prove a problem for those with vision problems.
On the bright side, the staff was friendly. The coffee was ready before 8:AM and came with danish or an english muffin and a bright smile.
I would stay there again and probably would find the stay more enjoyable, now that I know what to expect.
