My girlfriend and I spent the night at the Fairfield Inn. Check-in with Matt, who was very courteous, was quick. He made me aware of everything available at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. I had read previous reviews and saw that if I wanted a refrigerator I needed to request one when making the reservation. There was one in our room when we arrived. The complimentary hot breakfast included was very good. There were several things to pick from. The hotel is behind the Millcreek Mall, away from all the traffic and congestion on Peach Street. The price of our room, with my AAA discount, was very reasonable.

Room tip: Our room on the fourth floor was very quiet.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The price was very reasonable and the room was certainly adequate, although on this visit, unlike our prior visit, our room did not have the microfridge and small microwave. If you want a room with a microfridge be sure to request one.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay, Bob! I do apologize that your room did not feature a refrigerator and microwave during this stay. Unfortunately, those items are not a standard amenity in our guest rooms at this time. However, we are working on outfitting the entire property with these items and have been making headway on this in the past months. We do hope that you will choose the Fairfield Inn Erie for your next visit to the area!

While heading south to Florida for our winter vacation, our first stop was in Erie, Pennsylvania. After a couple of searches on Google Maps for places to grab some food and a place to spend the night, this Fairfield Inn presented itself.
We had only 'discovered' the Fairfield brand a couple of years ago, while on another trip south and were impressed immediately. Up to then, we had generally sought out a Hampton Inn for overnight stays, but that first Fairfield experience led us to a new possibility when on the road and this location accommodated us well.
The king room was comfortable, the bathroom clean and we took advantage of the in-room microwave and fridge. Access to the Interstate was easy and the part of town it's located in was much more appealing than the old section that we had driven through :-/
The included breakfast was good and the staff freindly and helpful. There is also an indoor pool, but we didn't go swimming while there.
All in all, we would stay here again and would recommend it.

We stayed here between Christmas and New Years. The hotel itself was fine. Typical Fairfield Inn. We had a room with 2 beds and they mattresses seemed to be worn out. Mainly on the side where you would get in and out of bed.
The room was clean but could have used and extra blanket on the bed. We missed breakfast both mornings as we slept in, but no big deal.
Unfortunately we were woken both mornings by a bus in the parking lot. It started about 430 am and sat there parked and running for at least 3 hours. Not the hotel's fault, but annoying.
I left a bottle of prescription drugs in the hotel and by the time we got home there was a message on our machine saying they found it. Being in Canada they couldn't mail it to me but I was able to call the hotel once we got home and get them to bill me for FedEx.
Thanks for that, drugs are expensive!

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was fine, and my pet was welcomed for the night. But, the beds were worn out and need to be replaced. Management should immediately take their pass key and sit on the edge of every bed on this property. This test will prove that the beds need to be replaced immediately. See you next time after the mattresses have been replaced.
