The place is beautiful, quite serene. The staff is gracious and accomodating and very responsive. Calls to the desk are answered within 2 rings.

Quick trips to various wineries and vineyards. Unfortunately not too many good wines. In fact, the wines are mediocre. But the views and the places are gorgeous.

Absolutely world class.

Room Tip: Lower suites are huge and stunning with jacuzzi, large seating area, back porch with rocking chairs.

I hosted a bridal shower for my sister at Glasbern in April and it was wonderful! Kathleen really made the process easy. She was very responsive when I had questions and offered suggestions for ways to keep the shower costs within my budget. I would definitely recommend Glasbern to host a shower or similar event. Kathleen was easy to work with and was open to the different ideas that I wanted to incorporate into the shower. She was there on the date of the shower as well to make sure everything went off as planned.

The shower was held in the lodge which has many doors and windows so all the guests could enjoy the beautiful scenery and landscaping of the Inn. All the tables were set up when we arrived so we could start setting up right away. There was a staff member there to greet us when we got there and he helped to unpack the boxes which was a great help. There was plenty of room for the food, decor, and for the guests to walk around and mingle. The food was wonderful - I had many people tell me how much they enjoyed it. They offered to play music while the shower was going on which added to the nice atmosphere. All in all it was a great experience and my sister said it was the perfect shower for her!

We stayed here for a cousin's wedding. The ceremony was held outdoors on a bluff/ridge overlooking a creek and wooded area. Very pretty & picturesque. Only issue it was October and the weather didn't cooperate. It was freezing. The hotel should have had outdoor heaters available but they did not(unless that was an upgrade that wasn't paid for...not sure). The reception was very nice. Decorated simply but elegantly. Cocktail hour was awesome although bartenders could have been a bit more efficient. I think there was a new bartender that evening. Food was delightful. Our suite had a whirlpool and walk-in shower stall. Good size room and very comfortable Sleep Number style bed. Breakfast in the morning was very good but not included in price of room. The grounds are stunning and so peaceful. Signage is a little confusing for first timers but getting lost is kind of fun when everything is so neat and pretty! Thank you making our cousin's wedding day a huge success!

We recently had our wedding ceremony outdoors at this beautiful location. The entire day was perfect from the start to finish. Kathleen was a great wedding planner for the Inn and both the ceremony and reception were absolutely fantastic. The food for the reception and anytime we have had dinner there is delicious and 5 star. The rooms are comfortable and with great amenities. We had a cottage and it was very rustic and charming. It had 2 fireplaces, a jacuzzi and so much room. Although we didn't get to use the fireplace, it would be wonderful for a winter stay. Can't wait to return.

Room Tip: The suites are fantastic for a romantic getaway. The Garden Cottage is off the hook!

Our families had a bridal shower there this past weekend. Not a very good experience. They were behind in setting up the tables, the room and bathrooms were dirty from the day before (my feet were sticking to the bathroom floor).
The food was presented poorly, and half of it wasn't even on the tables. They used coffee spoons for the soup. There were no condiments to accompany the wraps. The best part was when they decided to disassemble a wedding arch on the other side of our room (from a wedding the day before) while the bride was opening her gifts!

Dear teresashapiro,

Thanks for selecting Glasbern for your bridal shower recently, we appreciate your business and your posting your comments on TripAdvisor.

From your review, it seems that we let you down and for this we are greatly sorry. This is clearly not how we traditionally operate at Glasbern. Not even close.

While I know the bride thanked us for a great event and she was appreciative that we graciously accommodated your early arriving guests, we could have done a better job overall. Again, our apologies.

We appreciate your detailed comments, since it is through feedback like yours that we continue to improve our service standards. Thanks.

Again thanks for using TripAdvisor and we look forward to seeing you again.
