The highlight of our dinner at Harvest was being able to eat in the restaurant's outdoor garden - it's a private area, sculpted off from the rest of the parking lot and shielded from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the strip mall by a cleverly designed and nicely landscaped berm. The tables, chairs, umbrellas, lighting and other fixtures in the outdoor garden created a perfect al fresco dining experience. The inside dining areas of the restaurant were also very nicely appointed and would not have been a bad second choice (i.e. in the case of inclement weather).
Our food was good - we had no specific complaints, but I did have the sense (it was late on a Monday evening) that the chef had his/her day off or was on break when our meals were prepared. Again - it was nothing specific, just an overall lack of attention to detail.
The wine list and service were very good. Again - it was late and I know the crew was eager to get home, but walking out of the restaurant just before 10PM, our otherwise very happy palates were hit by wafts of windex as tables and bar surfaces were being scrubbed down for the night - at least it wasn't bleach...
