Stayed here overnight before a meeting. The front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. The room was very clean, but we had an issue with a phone that wouldn't stop flashing, and the front desk clerk came up and switched out the phone. Then, one of the light bulbs over the bed wouldn't work. We switched the bulb from the one over the desk, and then went downstairs to exchange it for a working bulb. However, when we put that bulb in, it wouldn't work. We gave up. Breakfast was acceptable. The room was clean and the beds were a bit hard for my liking. Would I stay here again? Maybe, as the price was right and it was clean.

Room tip: Wouldn't want to be right be the front desk nor right by the ice machines

Room was clean and rather spacious. There is only one ice machine and vending machine which is all on one floor. The hotel seemed new but you can tell they are using used equipment. All in all it was not a bad stay. If your on a budget then this is the place to go while in Harrisburg or Hershey.

Unexpectedly had to look for a place last minute. Staff was really nice and accommodated us. Arrived on a Thursday night and rented a room on 4th floor. We were unsure if we would also stay at hotel on Friday night, but since our room was already pre-reserved for Friday night the staff held a different room for us to use Friday night. Ended up staying for Friday night too in the handicapped room (it was last available). The place hotel and both rooms were average, basically "get what you pay for" type deal. But both rooms were cleaned and stocked for our stay. Did NOT notice any kind of bug problems OR any bad smells from poor cleaning or smoke(entire building is non-smoking). The WIFI was somewhat weak, especially in the bathroom where wifi signal was often lost.
For a last minute accommodation, price was ok. We had no complaints and cleanliness was ok. Of course, you get what you pay for, but what really stood out was the staff.
Location wise, not a bad place at all. Several things to do around area in a 20 minute radius i.e. Hersheypark, parks, cave systems, nice scenery.
If you do not need a lot of amenities but want a clean, quiet room and building with staff that is helpful and knows what their doing then you will have no problem here. Would definitely stay again- but would definitely book in advance to get a better deal.

Stayed here with my service dog, which I had small issues with, but just the staff questioning that she was a service dog. Hotels really need to brush up on the ADA act. The room was clean-ish, but everything seemed old and worn. There is a bar adjacent to the hotel, which I didn't have much of a problem with, but the cigarette smoke was a bummer.

Stayed at better EconoLodges so rating generous. Still upholding the clean linen. Mom and pop are keeping up with the towels. Was able to use gym. Staff receptive and responsive.

Issues that I did encounter were a smelly, sticky bathroom floor, dirty handprints on bathroom door, drooping curtain rod, no other chair other than at desk, and a breakfast only fit to say that you have one. Floor had smell like it was cleaned with moldy mop. Even after reporting it to front desk, wasn't much improvement later. No lounge chair in room, just desk chair. Breakfast simply unappealing & possibly unsatisfactory for EconoLodge standards. No yogurt or fresh fruit. I would only recommend venturing to the beverages and waffle maker. On last morning, a customer was cleaning coffee maker.

Told that motel is 4 years old. Suspect will age sooner to wear and tear if not kept up. The curtain rod issue is either the same room or a common issue.

Room tip: Wouldn't recommend 202 due to smelly bathroom with grimy door and drooping curtain.
