We visit this Hotel periodically as it is so close to virtually everything there is to see on Homestead. Opposite the Hotel is the wonderful AMC Movie Theater. Across from the theater there is several top class restaurants, and a few stores. Down from the Hotel there is more restaurants like - Red Robin, TGI's, Fishmarket and Eat n Park. There's also a Getgo and Giant Eagle. The Hotel itself is a well maintained Hotel. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable, great heating and AC. There's also an indoor swimming pool. Free breakfast is always good. And the staff are always there to help with anything you need assistance with. Everyone is so friendly.

This hotel is maintained and very clean both in the lobby/breakfast areas as well as the rooms. I would definitely recommend reserving a river view room with two queen beds - these are offered for the same price as the parking lot views and are far more spacious. As for the breakfast items - if you enjoy light fare or continental type breakfast items this is a good value - but if you prefer a hot meal with fresh eggs, bacon and sausage - recommend you dine just up the block at Eat in Park - a party of two can enjoy a wonderful breakfast with coffee for less than $20.

As a family travelling through PA, we have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years. We have genuinely looked forward to staying here having come to expect the Hilton brand of cleanliness and maintenance of their properties along with all the convenience of the local shopping, etc.. We arrived late evening on a Saturday. A very low energy reception by the desk clerk, not acknowledging my Hilton Honors status, just handing me a bag with two bottles of water. [$10 parking fee for staying at the hotel!?!) Tired as we were, going to our room, we noticed how the hallways were well vacuumed as they used to be plus a faint urine odour in one area. The next morning’s breakfast fully displayed just how downhill things had gone. While not busy, the offerings were skimpy and certainly not being kept up to the demand. Only one staff person that we saw handling the breakfast serving. Chairs at the dining tables were filthy and had clearly not been properly cleaned in a long while. We left disgusted by what we saw. Really a shame. Management there clearly needs a major overhaul.

Very nice hotel right on the river and close to restaurants and shops. This is a great place to stay. You can get back from work and everything is within walking distance plus a great river view. No need to fight the Pittsburgh traffic in the evening when you stay here.

Over the past 5 years, we’ve been staying in this Hampton location several times a year whenever we visit our children at college. The services are getting worse for this recent year. I feel that their management is going downhill. Now they added extra $10 per night for the parking fee even more ridiculous. I called to check with hotel why they changed. The response from the representative who answered my call was “We always have additional parking charges”. Well, this is not the only hotel we can stay when we visit Pittsburgh. There are many other hotels near by with free parking, clean rooms, and convenient location. I ended up stayed in other hotel in April & Aug for 2 visits, total 6 nights, and I am happy with them. I just wanted to let you know that it’s your lost.
