“Amazing rural location & property”
Reviewed October 6, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Lovely property in a beautiful location, a comfortable home-from-home, clean and well equipped. The property was nicely located for days out, in the area I spent many summers in as a child. The clear night sky’s full of stars were stunning.

“Lovely comfortable cottage in rural Wiltshire”
Reviewed May 16, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped, standing in lovely, private surroundings. It is located in the heart of rural Wiltshire; ideal for visiting the many prehistoric attractions Wiltshire has to offer.

“Very peaceful and quiet”
Reviewed April 22, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

The location was great for visiting surrounding area, very quiet and peaceful. The cottage was clean and well kept. Lovely porch to sit and read in the sunshine. The cottage was as big as it needed to be. The kitchen small but manageable bit of a pain having the fridge in the dining room though. Had quality saucepans and crockery, just lacking on quality utensils. A water filter would be good to have, take with you.Bathroom all good, bath filled up in minutes, the shower took too long as not very powerful. Master bedroom was great , good size and had all we needed the bed was ok not the worst but not the best. Kids room small but perfectly ok. Only problem was that the lounge was in the middle of the two bedrooms so we had to be very quiet or we would wake up the children. There was no where to store our bikes.

“Perfect retreat and lovely setting”
Reviewed March 9, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

I would highly recommend Hinton Lodge. We stayed 3 adults and a tot, perfect to stay with a toddler, nice atmosphere, functional and well furnished house, very nice village location close to Stonehange, Bath, Stourhead, Lacock and lots of other National Trust sites. Would definitely stay again if we visit the area.

“Wiltshire's best kept secret!”
Reviewed February 15, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Wow - what a lovely, quirky place to stay. Warm, cosy and very comfortable. Place was spotless and linen was clean and crisp. Wonderful if you want to get away from it all, especially after a hard day's shopping in Bath. It was my friend's 50th; Cleo had kindly supplied a bottle of champagne and flowers for her arrival. We will definitely be returning.

we stayed in this charming cottage for 4 nights. very cosy and quiet, although not far from Devizes, great museum here. many pubs to eat at. Although further afield, shopping good at Clarks Village Street. so many historical sites to see in this area though. love the Roman Baths.....look forward to coming back to this cottage soon.

“perfect cottage for friends to celebrate new year and walk”
Reviewed August 4, 2014 for a stay in December 2013

lovely kitchen and dining area, gardens and porch, lots of lovely canal walk nearby, the nearest pub is a long walk and not really safe in the dark, the lanes are too narrow, Bath very easy to get to. everything you want in this cottage, had a great time. we used a local cab for the pub.
